Lake Champlain Deck Stain Maintenance

One of the most common items in our Topcoat paint maintenance program (Ounce of Protection), is deck stain. We probably do as many initial coatings and maintenance on custom and exotic decks as anyone on the east coast. By custom and exotic, we mean decks that are built with visually appealing, high performance wood species, such as ipe, mahogany and cedar. We do considerable research, experimentation and collaboration with manufacturers of exterior products to make sure that we always put out the very best available.

Lately, we have been leading our industry in the conversion from oil based to waterborne products. This is especially critical when it comes to the decks and docks that we service around Lake Champlain. The Lake is a high exposure area, pelted by sun, wind, rain and all the general wear and tear that any lakefront brings. It is no longer necessary to introduce gallons of oil in such close proximity to the lake.

Fortunately for our annual maintenance clients, we prioritize accounts with high exposure surfaces to make sure that they are well prepared for a fun season of outdoor living with family. We understand that our clients have parties and events scheduled at their lake homes during the summer season, and our job is to make everything perfect, in the least intrusive fashion.

Pressure WashingAs always, for our client convenience, Topcoat maintenance accounts get the highest level of service from trained professionals who love what they do. If you have a custom property around the lake and prefer to deal with a discreet, professional company that respects both your privacy and property, Topcoat Finishes is the only choice. Call (802) 899-5004, and Scott will be happy to meet with you for an inspection to develop a customized plan that serves the visual and performance needs of your property, and the convenience of your lifestyle.
