Home Maintenance

One of the things we enjoy the most at Topcoat about our home maintenance accounts is being a part of helping families prepare their homes and properties for annual traditions and summer events. It is rewarding for us to create the visual setting for these memories.

Worth Waiting For, but we Try Not to Make You Wait

home maintenanceIn today’s example, we are pressure washing a small pool house to prepare it for a quick coat of oil just in time for pool season in Vermont. We had originally placed this project on the home maintenance schedule for the week before Memorial Day, but several weeks of absurd amounts of rain and flooding in Chittenden County made that an impossibility.

Fortunately, our clients appreciate Topcoat, because they know we will not blow them off. And it is a situation where we certainly appreciate our clients, because they are understanding and willing to wait for us to come and care for their properties. We pride ourselves on reliability, so it goes without saying that when the Topcoat schedule is impacted by weather issues, we are proactive in communicating with our customers to let them know where the schedule stands.

Home Maintenance

Yes, we’d be happy to clean the hot tub too.

At Topcoat, we understand the simple value of a customer wanting to know when to expect us. None of us enjoy people showing up at our homes unexpectedly, so at Topcoat, we go to great lengths to make sure that our arrivals for home maintenance are fully expected. This makes for a smoother experience for all involved. And it also gives our customers the opportunity to provide us with any “blackout  dates” or times when they would prefer NOT to receive service.

First Rate Service for Second Homeowners.

Many of our clients own homes in Vermont that are vacation homes, or second homes. So, some common examples of blackout dates include preparing homes and properties in advance of gatherings, such as:

  • family reunions
  • quiet vacation time for a brand new grandchild
  • weddings
  • cocktail parties

It is our honor for our clients to request that we service their properties in advance of critical family dates, and we sincerely value their trust in us to perform these services without the need for them to be present. The best paint services are convenient, reliable and thorough. That is part of what we do at Topcoat.
